Conceived in 1989, Race Against Drugs
was developed with the Federal Bureau of Investigation
as an exciting program used to attract the attention
of youngsters and their families to provide them with
drug prevention awareness and educational materials
to change their attitudes towards drug use. Based in
Daytona Beach, Florida, Race Against Drugs continues
to empower individuals, schools, and community organizations
to use the thrill, excitement, sound, and color of
motor sports to attract children to innovative activities
that address their community’s unique drug prevention
needs.
